Dockworkers

Miami, Florida - February 27, 2007

Reports have been received indicating that a fatal accident involving dockworkers occurred this evening at the Port of Miami.

While online media reports were nil, it is our understanding that a 66 year old ILA checker was struck and killed by a container toploader at around 11:00 PM. It is alleged that the checker was, at the time, a pedestrian. While we understand that the accident occurred near the gate complex administered by Seaboard Marine, there is no indication regarding other factual matters of importance. Seaboard Marine operates the 70 acre terminal under lease from the Miami Dade Port Authority.

As further relevant, releasable and more formal facts are made available, they will be appear at the Blueoceana Company’s website.
