Executive Representative Cynthia Boychuk assures us and the troops!

I contacted Kraft foods after receiving the odd email last night and although I had already found it to be a hoax wanted to share there quit response below.

Thank you for fact-checking with us regarding our Oscar Mayer business. There is an email hoax currently in circulation that is completely false.

We do support the troops and in fact, Kraft Foods/Oscar Mayer has donated products to the U.S. troops in Iraq. We work with the military to ensure favorite Kraft products are available where our troops are stationed. Due to security and logistic concerns, the military requests that all product go through previously established channels. This ensures our donations are safely delivered where needed.

We don't know how the internet statement originated as we work through approved channels to accommodate military requests as appropriate.

We would appreciate it if you would let your friends who shared emails with you on this topic know that it actually is an email hoax.

Oscar Mayer supports the troops in other ways as well. For example, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile vehicles visit about half of the more public US military bases each year making about 70 total stops.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Cynthia Boychuk
Executive Representative
