What Skim Milk and OSHA have in Common

I can remember a while back I was told to drink skim milk and I thought what the heck it can't be that different but when your used to whole milk you may as well poor water on your cereal.

Well that's what came to mind when I read Katherine Torres's first installment Chronicling OSHA in 2007. I have a feeling the outcome will show OSHA is week enough some can't even see it.

It seems with all the agencies that feel there should be change OSHA would at the very least do so just to shut them up but some feel the push isn't hared enough.

What I can't figure is why the estimated 6,000 people a year we loose isn't enough. Lets watch for the next installment on OH to see what they find out.

Lets see what The Workforce Protections Subcommittee finds with "Workplace Tragedies: Examining Problems and Solutions," hearing on Jan. 14th. It will be interesting to find out if:

  • Family member will be involved?
  • Will it cover and of the issue we have in our Family Bill of Rights?
  • Will they cover some of the recourses that families of injured ill and lost workers families need but can't find?
Well guess we will just have to wait and see.
