To all our loyal followers:
The individuals who prepare The Weekly Toll will be on a respite during the month of December. The task of reading and assembling hundreds of articles about people dying on the job from preventable causes takes its toll on a person's spirit. This is especially true for individuals like the USMWF staff and board members who have all experienced losing a loved one from a deadly workplace hazard.
We'll also be taking time in December to redesign how we present and memorialize the names of U.S. workers killed on the job. Look for a new version of the Weekly Toll in January 2012.
